BioI first got interested in Sci-Fi when I was very young. I have always loved Star Trek and have watched all the series (with varying degrees of enjoyment). I became involved in fandom because of Star Trek and used to collect fanzines regarding the original show.
Then I became engrossed in Star Wars and enjoyed arguing with Lord of the Rings fans at conventions (sci-fi) over which was the best. That's when I had to read the LOTR books and I became of fan. I didn't become too involved in the making of movies because I was afraid they would disappoint me, but luckily for me I really enjoyed the movies (especially the extended versions).
I am now engrossed in LOTR fandom and like reading slash as well as het fic. I also like AU and Real Person fics.
I wrote short stories and never finished a long novel about the series "Prey" but I hope to go back and finish it someday soon.
I admire anyone who is creative. It takes alot of guts to share your writing, art, poems, and/or self and fandom has so may talented people out there to admire!!
